The St Albans GAP Plan Presentation

Following the meeting above, Ellie Beach, from Countryside Management Service, will be making a Presentation on The St Albans GAP Plan that she’s been leading and the improvements taking place along Alban Way.

SADC GAP PLAN: SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Over the last few years, St Albans District Council, under the guidance of Countryside Management Service, has been undertaking some major improvements to their section of The Alban Way – clearing undergrowth, felling trees and, with the support and advice of The ‘Bringing the History of Smallford Station to Life’ Project Team, restoring some of the platforms, renovating the car park at Smallford Station, installing white fencing and gates, adding ‘markers’ on the footpath – and they will shortly be adding Station Names and a series of Interpretation Panels at various points to guide and inform users.
