A compilation of some of the activities celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the Hatfield-St Albans Railway Line – now the Alban Way cycle and footpath – held on Sunday 18th October 2015.
Thanks to Mike Cobart and the St Albans Movie Makers Team
Well done all of you!
I was blown away by the film!
The attached is a reply I got back from one of those that use to cycle the route.
just watched the video! I wish they’d made more of it. I liked that each stop had a variety of events. I wish the go-pro video was better quality/easier to watch (it was too fast and fuzzy). One of the background music choices was odd to me, it felt more american than english, do you know which piece I’m talking about?
I’d have liked to see some interviews with people, some more explanation of the various exhibits etc, maybe some past to present fades for the viewer… but it was a pretty good video of the days events and celebration 🙂 I didn’t see anyone I knew, should I watch again and keep and eye out for anyone?!
